Ukrainian art

We stopped in at the Ukrainian Museum-Archives in the Tremont area today to see their collection of Pysanky and loved all the other ethnic history and art. Just one more of Cleveland's lesser known treasures.

Conducted by our friend, the masterful Carrie, our local high school orchestra prepared for the big competition by giving a free performance for the community.
The music was wonderful! And they looked great as well.

Bay soccer

Last fall St Francis won the state championship when they won 2-0 against Bay. Last night the teams met again for the fun of it.
Yeah - we said "fun".
The crowd certainly had fun.

Mike came by to mow the lawn of the lot he's cleared for their new home. But some neighborhood volunteers beat him to it.

Crunch time

Mike and Laurel decided to improve our neighborhood. And their first step is to make some space.
Mason and Noah came along to protect Mom from the debris.

Looks like we're almost ready to begin work on the new family home. We're excited!

Spring sprang

There's a reason that our posts dwindle during this season. Cabin fever is real. But, hope "springs" eternal, as they say. The last of the ice is melting and spring has finally sprung.

"Grease" opened to an enthusiastic audience. Mr "C" made a surprise appearance in completely uncharacteristic wings.
Kathy's Mom said "They didn't wear costumes!", proving that after 91 years the fifties are just another day.

Christmas Concert

One of our favorite joys of Christmas is the High School Orchestra's concert. This year featuring a trans-Siberian-style light show. Cool!
