We've noticed a strange family of squirrels in our yard this year with distinctive white tail fur.
Kathy and her friend Carol went out to investigate.
OK. That was a composite photo. They really didn't really go that close to the two deer who came to visit with our aberrant squirrels.

We don't generally post pictures taken by others but I couldn't resist putting up this one of my good friend Max. Shown here at the Formula 1 race yesterday in Valencia Spain - his home. Max and I worked together but it seems he's found some new colleagues.

A sad farewell

We're losing our great neighbors, Nita, PJ and Rishi, who are moving to Phoenix. They hosted a farewell party today and Ringo (recumbent) got a new haircut for his 12th birthday.

Rishi looks happy, as usual, but we're filled with sadness. We'll miss our foster grandson and his wonderful parents.

Ryan, appearing here with sister Ellen, is a Marine Captain about to leave for his 3rd tour of duty in Iraq. Thanks for your service Ryan and we'll look forward to seeing you home safely for Thanksgiving next year.Morgan came to tonight's celebration and has a new hero.

Patrick is one of those guys who really ARE as tough as they look - but only on the field. I'm glad I don't have to line up opposite him this Friday!

Rainbows are well known to bring luck. A double rainbow tonight greeted us as Kathy and I met with our daughter Sarah and her fiance' Scott to plan their wedding.

Continuing education

Both Kathy and I continuously work to improve our skills. Today, Kaitlin stopped by to give us a few pointers.
