After the storm

Jackie and Dan's rehearsal dinner was a victim of a torrential downpour during the wedding rehearsal. But the storm didn't seem to dampen the spirits of their friends and family. Groom Dan and best-man Tom certainly seemed in a party mood.

Tyler Davis and Matt Francatti played in the NEOBCA All Star game at Cleveland's Progressive Field today. Coach Joe Cheney, also from Bay High, was the head coach. Congratulations guys!

OK, the nursing fawn a week or so ago was cute. And Momma deer lurking in our fern forest is pretty. But . . .

. . . three deer plus three fawns is starting to stress the food chain here. Anyone have any good venison recipes?

Family

While Kathy was working in Florida this past weekend, I had a chance to visit with my brother and father. Dad's a decorated WWII vet who served in the Pacific theater and Jon's making some of the products that keep our country strong.
While I was there Dad "reflected" on some of the treasures he and Mom collected in their many years together.

Beata and Marcin

A wonderfully busy weekend was highlighted by Beata and Marcin's wedding in Tampa FL. Kathy was there while I hung around home - more of what I did tomorrow. For now, let's celebrate a wonderful occasion.

We were expecting this visitor but this is the first time we've seen the little newcomer.

Sarah & Scott

Regulars readers will know that our son, Jason, married Amy in Yuma Arizona last October - and we had the privilege of photographing the event. Tonight in Key West, Scott asked our daughter Sarah to marry him - he timed his plea for their arrival for a Spring vacation (is that romantic, or what?). Scott's family is GREAT. I truly hope that we have the joy of capturing their event as well.
