Seniors . . . reprise
It's not in character for us to post this many images here from the same shoot. But these young ladies are very special to us and Kathy has really enjoyed working with them. Enjoy!

Senior-itis
Graduation from high school is a solemn and introspective time. Contemplating the future. And a time to celebrate if you're so inclined. It must be something in the water . . .
Maral seems to have her own idea about closure. Lake Erie purifies and renews . . .
Megan is caught up in the excitement of graduation.

Jazz . . . oh yeah!
Jazz has always been a particular favorite of mine, and Bay High does it better than just about any school. Wouldn't you LOVE to hear the music behind these pics?
Kick it up a notch
Joey stopped by to see some pics and demonstrated part of the reason he was voted best dancer at his Prom. Jackie Chan, here he comes!
It's easy to see where he gets his great smile.

What She Did
Kathy began the evening of her birthday at the choral concert at the high school where Mark Goins was a featured soloist. A great talent.
The evening progressed to Savannah where the action flows outside on pleasant spring evenings like this one.

Melissa & Benny
Benny-the-photo-dog snuck into yet another session. He's small but he's persistent. Melissa didn't seem to mind.
Spring visitor
You know that spring is here when the babies appear. Stay away from the landscape lighting wires kiddo!

Prom!
Three local schools are celebrating Prom tonight (Avon Lake, Bay Village and Rocky River) so we'll be busy well into the wee hours. But it was great to start our long day with a couple as beautiful and full of joy as Melissa and Joey.
The Bay Village Prom was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and what a great venue it is for an event like this. Rock on seniors!
The Rocky River after-Prom party hadn't started yet as of this post but since the seniors are still at the Prom, I don't think we're giving much away with this sneak peek of "An Evening With the Stars". Our friends at DRS Photography will have all the pictures up soon.

Music at its Best
The Bay High School Spring Orchestra concert tonight featured the talents of Caroline Chang, Sean DeLong and the wonderful students of one of the "Best Communities for Music Education in America 2008". This is the sixth consecutive year that the Bay Village district has been awarded that designation based upon a nationwide survey by the NAMM Foundation and several partner organizations in the field of music and education. We're proud to showcase them here tonight.

Tatiana at home
Tatiana remains one of the favorites here. Tonight she awoke from her nap and kindly consented to share space with the family.

Bee Bouncers
Think Harlem Globetrotters in kindergarten. This amazing program here in Bay Village begins with kindergarten and is open to both boys and girls. They've performed for half time at Cavaliers' and Globetrotter's games as well as at high school and college games. Read about them here. And don't miss a chance to see them live - it's well worth the time to see these awesome kids perform.
If you missed the link above, read about them here.
